Description

MEI CF7512 / 7512i Coin Changer (Cashflow Series 7000)

The MEI 7512 (also listed as CF7512 or CF7512i) is a 5-tube MDB coin manager in the Cashflow 7000 line. It is a step up from 3-tube mechs like the Coinco 9302-GX or MEI TRC-6512: removable cassette, LCD status display, inventory tracking, and optional $1 payout.

What it does

  • Accepts U.S. nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar coins
  • Pays out from five auto-replenishing tubes
  • Removable cassette — load tubes on the bench, then snap the cassette back in
  • LCD and keypad for status, par, audit, and cassette programming
  • Instant par: dispenses surplus coins and shows which tubes need refill
  • Tracks coin inventory, including cash still in the tubes
  • Water- and jam-resistant paths; debris can often be cleared without tools
  • Works with an MDB bill validator to make change on higher-value bills

Electrical and interface

  • Voltage: 34V DC (commonly listed as 24/34V)
  • Interface: MDB only, 6-pin
  • Rated about 12W
  • Mounts on the standard three-stud changer channel

Tube cassette (important for listings) Tubes A–E are configurable. Common factory key codes:

Code A B C D E
DCC 25¢ 10¢ 25¢ 25¢
DCA 25¢ 10¢ 25¢ $1
DAC 25¢ $1 $1 25¢
AA 10¢ 25¢ 25¢
BA 25¢ 25¢ 25¢ 25¢

Rules: always include at least one nickel tube; no $1 tube in A or B; no quarter in B; no dime in E.

How it compares

  • Coinco 9302-GX / MEI TRC-6512: 3-tube MDB, simpler, lower change capacity
  • CF7512: 5 tubes, LCD, par function, cassette swap, $1 payout option
  • Often paired with MEI VN2512 or VN2712 validators on MDB soda and snack machines

Warranty
