- Weight: about 4 lb
Fits / used on: 110V machines with a compact bill opening — snack/drink venders that still use pulse, changers, car wash, kiosks, and many amusement cabinets. Not an MDB 24V validator. AE2612 is the 24V/MDB cousin; VN models are vending-specific. Match voltage and harness before swapping.
Common reason to replace: Rejected good bills; jam in the path or stacker; no credit (pulse vs long-pulse mismatch); worn belts; outdated firmware for newer $5s; failed 110V power supply section.
Install notes:
- Confirm the cabinet is 110 VAC pulse, not MDB 24V.
- Set DIP switches or use a coupon: denominations, 4-way, high security, short vs long pulse, pulses per dollar.
- If it takes a bill and gives no credit, change pulse length (switch 7 / coupon) to match the machine.
- LED flash codes on the back diagnose jam, full box, disabled, or no interface.
- Keep the note path clean; replace belts when they glaze or slip.
Proven 110V compact acceptor for operators still running pulse machines. Verify voltage, bezel, and stacker size against the unit you are pulling.
