Description
CPI (Crane MEI) Talos T6T1 Bill Validator
Next-generation 110-volt bill validator from the CPI Talos T6 amusement series. It is designed as a direct replacement and upgrade for MEI Series 2000 models such as the AE2611, with faster validation and stronger fraud protection.
Key features
- Accepts U.S. $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills (4-way acceptance; newer series notes supported)
- 110/117V AC pulse interface (typically 9-pin harness)
- Talos low-entry T-bezel (compact upstacker style) with high-visibility green flashing LED lights
- Advanced Light Bar sensor technology that scans ~99% of the note surface using multiple wavelengths for significantly improved counterfeit detection (roughly 10x better note coverage than Series 2000)
- Approximately 2x faster transaction speed than Series 2000 models
- USB connectivity for faster firmware updates and configuration
- Compatible with CPI Synq for mobile diagnostics and reduced service time
- Improved jam performance and modular design for easier maintenance
- Backwards-compatible with many existing Series 2000 bezels and mounting
Typical specifications
- Voltage: 110–117V AC
- Common stacker capacities: 500-note or 700-note (other sizes available depending on configuration)
- Primary use: Amusement, gaming, pinball, crane, car wash, and other pulse-interface applications
Applications
A practical modern upgrade for operators who want better acceptance rates, higher throughput, and stronger security than older AE2600 series validators. The T6T1 is the compact low-entry face version commonly used as a drop-in replacement for AE2611 and similar models.
